Hickory Community Theatre is located in the old City Hall building in downtown Hickory, across the street from the Bank of Granite Plaza.

I-40 Westbound (from Winston-Salem, Statesville)
Take exit 125 and turn right onto Lenoir-Rhyne Blvd. Travel on L-R Blvd for approx 1.2 miles. At the 4th stop light turn left onto Tate Blvd (there is a sign at that intersection directing you "Downtown"). Tate Blvd turns into 1st Ave SE then 1st Ave SW. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn right at the 5th stop light which is 3rd St NW. The theatre is approximately 0.12 miles from that stop light, on the right-hand side, across from the Bank of Granite plaza.
I-40 Eastbound (from Asheville, Morganton)
Take exit 123-B. Merge left onto 321N. Travel 1.7 miles to the first stoplight. You will see the "Bonita Furniture" store on your right. Go through that stoplight to the next one (at the McDonalds) and turn right onto 2nd Ave NW. Travel 1.2 miles on 2nd Ave and turn right at the 6th stoplight onto 3rd St NW. The theatre is two blocks up, on the left-hand side of the street.
127 Southbound (from Taylorsville, Bethlehem)
Stay on 127 S until you pass Frye Regional Medical Center on your right and the SALT block on your left. Turn right at the next light onto 3rd Ave NE. At the 3rd stop light turn left onto 3rd St NW. Go up 3 blocks and the theatre is on the left-hand side.
321 Northbound (from Lincolnton, Gastonia)
Stay on 321 N to the first stop light. You will see the Bonita Furniture store on your right. Go through that stoplight to the next one (at the McDonalds) and turn right onto 2nd Ave NW. Travel 1.2 miles on 2nd Ave and turn right at the 6th stoplight onto 3rd St NW. The theatre is two blocks up, on the left-hand side of the street.
321 Southbound (from Lenoir, Boone)
Stay on 321 S until you pass the Corning office tower on your right-hand side. Go through that first stoplight and travel about half a mile to the next light and turn left onto 2nd Ave NW. Travel 1.2 miles on 2nd Ave and turn right at the 6th stoplight onto 3rd St NW. The theatre is two blocks up, on the left-hand side of the street.
