Mission Statement
The mission of the Guild at HCT is to support the staff and board ; enhance the theatre goers experience , and promote an awareness of the theatre in the community. (updated spring 2010)
The Guild is comprised of volunteers from all segments of the community . The dues are $20 for single individuals and $35 per couple and that is all that it takes to become a member . Some members become actively involved with the Guild while others simply wish to support the Guild through their annual dues . Whatever your intent we welcome your membership . With the 2010-2011 season we hope to welcome many new members and to continue with our service projects , social gatherings , and our fund raising events.
2009-2010 season accomplishments include
1- Donating money for a brand new ice machine to meet our growing needs
2- Held wine and beer tasting fund raiser events
3- Cleaned and organized the costume rooms upstairs
4-Organized and conducted a Tuxedo yard sale Fundraiser
5- Decorated the theatre for the holidays and removed the decorations after the holidays
6- Donated $200 to the theatre for renting a bunny for the show Bunnicula
7- Provided food , decorations , and staffed the annual Kay Awards
8- Helped fund the NCTC Award party
9- Special Guild volunteer aprons were created
10- Held a Christmas basket raffle fundraiser
11- Guild volunteers helped staff the annual Vacation Extravaganza fundraiser in June
12- Contributed for new awnings for the front of the building
13- Updated our mission statement
14- Assisted the theatre staff by ushering , working the box office , and working concessions at shows

Guild meetings are held the second Monday of the month at 7:00p.m. in the Board room of the theatre . All are welcomed to attend.
