Keith McKay Evans
  Keith is no newcomer to the HCT stage.  He’s been seen in Sister Act, Catch Me if You Can, Ghost the Musical and The Pirate Queen, as well as on the HCTO stage in The Secret Garden and In The Heights.  Keith has a BA and MA from BYU and is currently the Artistic Director of BYU’s all-female vocal ensemble, NOTEWORTHY.  “A painter paints his pictures on canvas.  Musicians paint their pictures on silence.”

Ricky Parkinson
  Ricky was last seen on the HCT stage in Ragtime.  He lists as some of his favorites:  The Music Man (PTC); Les Miserables (HCTO); Beauty and the Beast, Children of Eden, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Centerpoint).  Ricky has a Bachelor’s Degree from BYU in Civil Engineering and Visual Art.  He also holds a Master’s Degree from the U of U in Architecture.

Jonathan Rex Baker
  Forever Plaid marks Jonathan’s HCT stage debut.  Jonathan lists as some of his favorites:  Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Tuacahn) and Forever Plaid (Grand).  Jonathan has also done supporting vocals for the Osmond family and David Archuleta, as well as various collegiate performance groups, which includes ballroom, chamber choir, “Thor” the mascot and the song & dance tour team “Acclamation”.  Jonathan has a Masters of Accountancy from SUU, CPA License and a dance minor with tap emphasis.  Jonathan is a Corporate Controller at StorageCraft Technology Corp, global data protection software/hardware provider.  “I just like to smile; smiling’s my favorite.” –Buddy the Elf

Will Perkins

  Will is no stranger to the HCT stage, but it’s been a few years, while he was pursuing his BM from the U of U and his MM & DM from Indiana University.  Will lists as some of his favorites:  ‘Joly’ & “Enjolras Cover’ Les Miserables (UFOMT); ‘Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine’ Next to Normal (Cardinal Stage Company-Bloomington, IN); ‘Camille’ The Merry Widow (Ohio Light Opera); ‘Candide’ Candide (IU Opera Theater).  Will spends his days ‘Daddying’, private voice teaching and seeking gainful employ.  “As my grandpa always said, ‘Go out and get what you want’.  Sometimes it takes some doing, but it’s always worth the effort.”

Kelly DeHaan
  Kelly is one of the most sought after Music Directors along the Wasatch Front. His talent and skills have been instrumental in the success of many of our productions, with the most recent being Sister Act, Beauty and the Beast, Peter and the Starcatcher, Big Fish, The Little Mermaid, GHOST the Musical, Catch Me If You Can, Mary Poppins and Les Misérables. A few of Kelly’s stage roles at HCT include ‘Carl Hanratty’ in Catch Me if You Can, ‘Goran’ in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ‘Colonel Pickering’ in My Fair Lady, ‘Sancho Panza’ in Man of La Mancha, and ‘Tateh’ in Ragtime. His extensive background makes him a highly prized vocal teacher and coach. Kelly is a devoted teacher at West Jordan High School. He is a recipient of the Music Educator of the Year Award from the Utah High School Activities Association, WorldStrides Music Teacher of the Year 2016 and is the 2017 recipient of the Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education. Kelly was also the BroadwayWorld.com winner for best music direction for HCT’s The Little Mermaid.  Kelly has lent his talents to various groups as a musical director for over 50 productions at local theatres, served as a soloist, clinician, and accompanist, and is a former member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Kelly holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Utah, where he was the singing coach for the Actor Training Program for four years. Kelly is the proud father of four boys and husband to one goddess wife.

Mark Robinette
Uncle Chester
  HCT would like to welcome Mark to our new Jewel Box stage.  Mark is a freelance musician, composer/arranger and show producer.  He lists as some his favorite adventures:  Broadway Touring Casts of The King and I, Chicago, Annie and Thoroughly Modern Millie.  He currently tours with a Beatles tribute band “Imagine”, as Ringo.  Mark is also a member of the Temple Square Orchestra and has played for Natalie Cole, Mamas and Papas, Frankie Avalon and Donny Osmond, to name a few.  “I am happy to be spending some quality time with my good friend Kelly, and the other talented people at Hale Centre Theatre.”

Adam Overacker
Uncle Chester Understudy
  Adam has performed in over 100 musical productions, which include Equity and LORT shows, national tours, as well as local and independent productions.  He lists as some of his notable shows:  Beauty and the Beast, The Last Ship (performing for Sting), Urinetown, Saturday’s Voyeur, The Count of Monte Cristo, Elf the Musical, Beautiful the Musical-National Tour, performing for Carole King.  Adam has a BA from the U of U in Music, with an emphasis on composition.   Adam makes his full-time living as a professional bassist.
