Robin Hood
  Derek is no stranger to the HCT stage, having been seen in The Pirate Queen, Oklahoma!, Ghost the Musical, Tarzan and She Love Me, to name a few.  Derek has a Master in Business Administration and Bachelors in Computer Science and is currently the IT Project Manager at CHG Healthcare.  ‘Robin Hood is such an important role for me, from growing up watching the Disney version, Kevin Costner, Men in Tights, or Russel Crow, I’ve always loved the role.  I can’t believe I have such an amazing wife that would allow me to leave her alone with three kids under the age of eight. ‘  ‘Everything I do, I do it for you” babe!”  “Unlike other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.”

Riley Branning
Marion / Martin
  Riley has been seen on many stages in Hairspray! (Country Playhouse), Little Women (Queen Theatre), Beauty and The Beast (Stafford Centre), Annie Get Your Gun (Fort Bend Theatre), Alice in Wonderland (HBU), 9 to 5 the Musical (UVU), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (UVU), Oklahoma! (Hale Centre Theatre), Big Fish (HCTO) and Betty Blue Eyes (HCTO).  Riley is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Utah Valley University.  “Thank you to Dave, Rob, Sally and Mark for this incredible opportunity.  This has been an absolute dream come true!”

Benjamin J. Henderson
Prince John
  Ben was last seen on our stage as ‘Steven Kodaly’ in She Loves Me and has also performed for the Shakespeare Theatre Company and Hale Center Theater Orem.  Ben has a B.S. in Theatre Performance from UVU and a M.F.A. in Classical Acting from the ACA at The George Washington University.  Ben teaches for HCT’s Education program, Utah COPA, Alpine School District, Canyons School District and Academy for Classical Acting.  “It can be what it is, or it can be something else.”

Daniel Fenton Anderson

  Daniel was most recently seen on the HCT stage as ‘Judge Taylor’ in To Kill a Mockingbird & ‘Owen Musser’ in The Foreigner.  Other roles & venues:  Santa Cruz Shakespeare Festival-‘Sung’ Midsummer Night’s Dream, ‘Gravedigger’ Hamlet; Hale Center Theater Orem-‘Norman’ Cash On Delivery!, ‘Fester’ The Addams Family; Grassroots Shakespeare Company-‘Prospero’ The Tempest, ‘Falstaff’ Merry Wives of Windsor.  Daniel owns a small business selling Shakespeare inspired bath bombs.  Look up Bard Bombs Apothecary on Facebook!  www.danielfentonanderson.com

Zöe Wilde
  Zöe was most recently seen on the HCT stage as ‘Sister Mary Patrick’ in last season’s Sister Act. Roles she has played are ‘Noodler’ Peter Pan & ‘Little Red’ Into the Woods, at HCTO; ‘Doralee’ 9 to 5 the Musical & ‘Natalie’ in Next to Normal, at UVU and played the role of ‘Mykelle’ in the film Once I Was a Beehive.  Zöe graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Theater Arts Performance from UVU and is currently working as a Box Office Rep for HCTO.  “Thank you to my parents for encouraging me to be brave and follow my crazy dreams!”

Brock Dalgleish
Guy of Gisborne
  Brock was last seen on the HCT stage as ‘Benjamin Pontipee’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  He’s been seen at Tuacahn Amphitheatre in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan and Peter Pan.  You’ve seen Brock on the HCT stage in Oklahoma! ‘Will Parker’, The Little Mermaid, Catch Me If You Can, Mary Poppins and many more.  At Utah Repertory Theatre:  ‘Jason McConnell’ Bare (Broadwayworld.com winner for Best Actor in a Musical) and Carrie:  The Musical.  CenterPoint Legacy Theatre:  ‘Radames’ Aida.  Brock has also worked at Walt Disney World in The Lion King, High School Musical 2 and 3 and Disney Channel Rocks.  He also toured with DisneyLive’s European Tour in Mickey’s Rockin’ Roadshow.  Brock is a full-time actor and owner/teacher at Performer’s Edge Studio, for audition preparation.

Zac Zumbrunnen
  Zac was last seen as ‘Walter Cunningham/Judge Taylor’ in To Kill A Mockingbird.  He was also seen in last season’s Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as ‘Cogsworth’ and counts it as one of his favorite roles.  Other roles include:  ‘Alf’ Peter and the Starcatcher, ‘Mr. Meraczek’ She Loves Me, ‘Goran the Spy’ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and ‘Harry Brock’ Born Yesterday, all on the HCT stage.  Zac holds a BFA in Theater Education from the U of U and teaches drama at Evergreen Junior High School.

Riley Groves
  Riley was last seen on the HCT stage in The Pirate Queen.  Other favorite shows:  Catch Me If You Can & Damn Yankees (HCTO).  Riley will be finishing his Marketing Degree at UVU this coming December – YAHOO!  “Thanks to my family and especially my wife, Ari, for loving theater just as much, so we can perform together!”

Nick Grossaint
  Nick lists as some of his favorites:  ‘Sipos’ She Loves Me (HCT), ‘Smee/Nana’ Peter Pan (HCTO), ‘Dromio’ The Comedy of Errors (Grassroots Shakespeare) and ‘J Pierpont Finch’ How To Succeed…(UVU).  Nick attended UVU and has a Bachelor’s of Theatre Arts degree & currently works as a Support Hero Leader at BambooHR.  “Have fun while being the best!”

Spencer Jackson Hohl

Spencer was most recently seen on the HCT stage as ‘Levi’ Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and in last season’s A Christmas Carol ‘Eben’ and Big River ‘Tom Sawyer’.  Other favorite roles:  ‘D’artagan’ The Three Musketeers and ‘Prince Hamlet’ Hamlet, both at UCT.  Spencer is certified in several weapons with the Society of American Fight Directors and has studied Guitar performance at UVU.  Spencer is an actor, studio guitarist and fight choreographer, by trade.  “Perfect, do it again.”

  Austin lists as some of his favorite roles:  ‘Beast’ Disney’s Beauty & the Beast (HCT), ‘Fred Anderson’ A Christmas Carol (PTC), ‘Jamie’ The Last Five Years, ‘Melchior Gabor’ Spring Awakening, ‘Princeton’ Avenue Q, ‘Johnny’ American Idiot, ‘Cornelius Hackle’ Hello, Dolly! and ‘Anthony’ Sweeney Todd (U of U).  Austin has a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the U of U.  “Thanks to my wife, Jessica Lee, for loving me and pushing me to be a better performer and person, each and every day!”

  Quinn was most recently seen as ‘Adam Pontipee’ Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and ‘Gaston’  Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on the HCT stage, as well as ‘Chef Louis’ The Little Mermaid.  He also travels nationally with the Party Rock Project.  Quinn has an Undergraduate Degree in Music and a Master in Business from USU and is currently the Director of Development for HCT.

  We’re so excited to welcome Sam to the HCT stage.  Sam lists as some of his favorite roles:  ‘Flounder’ The Little Mermaid (SCERA), ‘Youth’ A Christmas Carol and Beauty and the Beast, Jr. at HCTO.  Sam will be a Junior in High School in the 2017-2018 school year.  “I’d like to thank my family, and everyone who has supported me.”

Ava Hoekstra

  The Heart of Robin Hood marks Ava’s stage debut on the HCT stage.  She lists as some of her favorite roles:  ‘Mary Rogers’ Will Rogers Follies, ‘Ensemble’ Oliver!, ‘Ensemble’ It Happened One Christmas, ‘Shprintze’ Fiddler on the Roof – all at Pioneer Theatre Company.  Ava has also performed in youth shows at Centrepointe Legacy Theatre and The Egyptian Theatre.  Ava will be heading into the 7th Grade in the 2017-2018 school year. “Thanks HCT for this great experience and to my family for all their support!”

  Ari is no stranger to the HCT stage, having played in last season’s The Pirate Queen.  Favorite roles:  ‘Nana’ Peter Pan (BYU 2011) {still playing a dog 6 years later}; Catch Me If You Can & Les Miserables (HCTO);  ‘Molly’ Peter and the Starcatcher (Empress).  Ari graduated from BYU in Geography and also performed in the Folk Dance program.  Ari loves to share döTerra and wellness coaching.  “Here’s to all of Robin’s Merry Men and Women in this killer cast!”

Bryan Dayley

  Favorite shows on the HCT stage:  ‘Willum Cubbert’ The Nerd, ‘Joey’ Sister Act, ‘Millet/Daisy’ Is He Dead?, ‘Charlie Baker’ The Foreigner, ‘Bob/Dave’ Beau Jest, ‘Captain Robert Falcon Scott’ Peter and the Starcatcher.  He was recently seen in Betty Blue Eyes at HCTO.  Bryan is also a writer and has written Star Wards, Hungry Games and Perfect Pitch for Desert Star Playhouse.  He has also performed in The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged at the Off Broadway Theater.  Bryan has an Associates in Film Production Technician from SLCC and is a Freelance Writer and Film Actor in the Salt Lake Valley.  In his spare time, he works at a video rental store.  “The world is not made from atoms, it is made up of tiny stories.”

Haley Wawro

  Haley was last seen on the HCT stage as ‘Mrs. Sanders’ Seven Brides for Seven Brothers &  ‘Nun/Homeless/Lady/Bar Patron/Fantasy Dancer’ Sister Act.  Some of Haley’s favorite roles have been ‘Eponine’ Les Miserables, ‘Anita’ & ‘Maria’ West Side Story. ‘Cathy’ The Last Five Years and ‘Martha’ The Secret Garden.  Haley is attending BYU and studying for her BFA in Music Dance Theatre.  She has also been a member of the BYU Young Ambassadors and has had the honor to tour with them to Nauvoo, Illinois, South Africa and Zimbabwe.  “So excited to be back at Hale Theatre doing what she loves most.  Big thanks to friends and family for all the support!”
