Susy Hendrix
  No stranger to HCT, Elise has been seen on our stage as Laurie in Oklahoma!, Meg in Brigadoon, and as an Aerialist in Tarzan and The Little Mermaid. She has also been seen as Penny in Hairspray and as Rosemary in Picnic at The Grand Theatre, and as Schwartzy in Spelling Bee at Pioneer Theatre. She has a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University. She works as an independent hairstylist and teaches English online to children in China. “So much love to my boys at home. Thanks for supporting me in my passion. XOXO”
     

Marshall Madsen

  Marshall is a familiar face in the local theatre community, having previously performed as Miles Tuck in Tuck Everlasting, as Ernie in Sister Act, and as Carl in Ghost: The Musical (HCT), as Clayton in Tarzan, Slank/Fighting Prawn in Peter and the Starcatcher, as Slightly Soiled in Peter Pan, as Don Price in Big Fish (HCTO), Franklin Hart Jr. in 9 to 5: The Musical, and Arthur Goring in An Ideal Husband (NOORDA Regional Theatre). He received training toward his BFA in Musical Theater Performance at UVU.
     

Greg Hansen

  Recently seen on our stage as Zoser in Aida, Greg lists as some of his other favorite roles:  Harold Hill in The Music Man (Sundance), Gomez Addams in The Addams Family and Eric Swan in Cash on Delivery, both for HCTO.  Greg graduated from BYU’s Law School with a J.D. degree.  He is currently a Real Estate Attorney and Title and Escrow Officer.  “Thank you to Rachel, Sawyer, Chancho, and Daisy for their love and support!
     

M. Chase Grant

New to our stage, Chase comes with extensive experience here and abroad. He starred as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing with the Creekside Theatre Fest (UT), as Coriolanus in Coriolanus with the Grassroots Shakespeare Company (UT), as Claudius in Hamlet for BYU’s Theatre Department, and as Macbeth in Macbeth for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre (London). Chase has a BS degree in Creative Writing from Utah Valley University and an MFA in Theatre (Staging Shakespeare) from the University of Exeter, UK. He works as a Directing and Acting Instructor at UVU and for the Utah Conservatory of the Performing Arts. “I’m excited to be sharing the stage with such a talented cast and production team at the beautiful new Sandy Hale Centre Theatre. Special thanks to my long-suffering and ever-supportive wife, Brooke.”
     

Benjamin J. Henderson

Ben was last seen on our stage as Prince John in The Heart of Robin Hood and as Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me. He has also performed for the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest, for Salt Lake Acting Company in Fun Home, for Sundance Summer Theatre in Annie Get Your Gun, for Grassroots Shakespeare Company in The Fantasticks, The Tempest, Pericles, and The Winter’s Tale, and for Hale Center Theater Orem in Annie, Peter and the Starcatcher, Big Fish, Peter Pan, The Civil War, South Pacific, and Crazy for You.  Ben has a B.S. in Theatrical Arts from Utah Valley University and an M.F.A. in Classical Acting from the ACA at George Washington University.  Ben teaches for HCT’s Education program, Utah COPA, Alpine School District, Canyons School District and the Academy for Classical Acting.  If you would like to take a class from Benjamin J. Mila Belle Howells

  Mila is honored to return to the Jewel Box stage having appeared in My Son Pinocchio.  This soon-to-be 6th grader is no stranger to theatre and is trying to make ends meet with her acting income. Previous roles include Freddy Rogers in Will Rogers Follies and Mila in It happened One Christmas at Pioneer Theatre Company, Jane Banks in Mary Poppins at The Utah Shakespeare Festival, Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical for The Cottonwood Heights Arts Council, Hedgehog/Bee in Winnie the Pooh at The Utah Children’s Theatre, and as part of the Ensemble for Great American Tall Tales. “I praise my fellow colleagues who have worked so hard on this production. I also thank my family and the wonderful  people across all disciplines at HCT!”
     

Benjamin Oldroyd

HCT welcomes Benjamin to for his first production with us. Previous roles include Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Lehi Arts Center, Fred in A Christmas Carol and The Bishop in Les Miserables at HCTO, and Shrek in Shrek: The Musical at the Scera Center for the Arts. When not performing, he works as a Customer Success Manager at Thumbtack. "Thank you HCT for granting me the opportunity to tell this story and to work with such an amazingly talented cast and production team. A huge shout out to my family and friends who continue to support my hobby of dressing up and acting like other people. Love you all!"
     

Bryan Dayley

  Bryan recently starred as Eric Swan in our production of Cash on Delivery. Some of Bryan’s favorite roles on the HCT stage include Willum Cubbert in The Nerd, Joey in Sister Act, Millet/Daisy in Is He Dead?, Charlie Baker in The Foreigner, Bob/Dave in Beau Jest, and Captain Robert Falcon Scott in Peter and the Starcatcher. He was recently seen in Sense and Sensibility and Betty Blue Eyes at HCTO and in The Heart of Robin Hood at HCT. Bryan is also a writer and has written Star WardsHungry Games and Perfect Pitch for Desert Star Playhouse. He has also performed in The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged at the Off Broadway Theater. Bryan has an Associate’s in Film Production Technician from SLCC and is a Freelance Writer and Film Actor in the Salt Lake Valley. In his spare time, he works at a video rental store. “The world is not made from atoms, it is made up of tiny stories.”
     

Matt Kohler

  Matt has been on the HCT stage as Jacob Marley/Undertaker in A Christmas Carol for a number of years. Some of Matt’s other favorite productions that he has been a part of include To Kill a Mockingbird, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Big Fish. Matt graduated from Utah State University in Theatre Arts and spends his days working for Solutionreach. “Happy wife, happy life.”
