Daniel Beck
Percy Blakeney
  We are so happy to have Daniel back at HCT where he played Percy on our previous productions of The Scarlet Pimpernel in 2002 and 2004. He portrayed Joseph and Thomas in Savior of the World at the LDS Conference Center Theater and Curly in Oklahoma! at the SLCC Grand Theater. He has two solo albums and has appeared in several Liken the Scriptures movies—David and Goliath, Ammon and Lamoni, The First Christmas, and Daniel and the Lions. He has an Associate degree from Weber State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Stevens-Henager Business College. He is the sales rep for Advanced Traffic Products for Utah, Arizona, and Montana—selling products that go into signalized intersections. Daniel would like to thank his wife and family for their love, support, and tolerance.
     

Erin Royall Carlson

  Over the past five years, Erin has been very busy in local productions.  Hale audiences will recognize her as Milly in Seven Brides…, Sandra in Big Fish, and Fantine in Les Miserables. She appeared as Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County, as Aurora in The Kiss of the Spider Woman, and as Cathy in The Last Five Years for Utah Rep.  She also appeared as Brooke in Noises Off, as Cassie in A Chorus Line, as Eva Peron in Evita, and as Velma Kelly in Chicago for the Egyptian Theatre. Erin is coowner for Audition Advantage; she is a vocal instructor, personal trainer, DJ, and Mommy of two. “Pimpernel was the very first show I saw on Broadway…that dream has now become my reality.   Nathan is made his Hale Centre Theatre debut on our Centre Stage in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Becca Burdick

  Becca was last seen at HCT as Josephine in Big Fish. Other favorite roles include: Guinevere in Camelot, Nina in In the Heights, Amneris in AIDA, and Mary Hatch in It’s a Wonderful Life. She is a proud graduate of Weber State’s Musical Theatre Department. “This show is beyond stunning, and I am so grateful to help tell its story. I dedicate this and every performance to my husband, Zakk, who is the bomb.com for always having my back. I love you!”
     

Clayton Barney

  Clayton was previously seen at HCT in Crazy for You, Little Women, and The Music Man. He has and AFA in Musical Theater and works as a service writer and warranty manager for a trailer repair shop. “I am so excited to be a part of The Scarlet Pimpernel. This show has been on my theater bucket list for a long time, and I am so grateful for all of those who have made this moment possible.”
     
     

Jason Baldwin

  Jason recently finished playing Jacey Squires in our performance of The Music Man. Other favorite roles: William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Weber State, and Henry in Next to Normal at The Ziegfeld. He has a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University and works as a set Crew Manager here at HCT. “Thanks to my sweet wife and my two P’s in a pod.”
     

Doug Irey

  Douglas is thrilled to be returning to the Hale stage for the third time in The Scarlet Pimpernel –having played Percy Blakeney in 2004 and Chauvelin in 2002. Previous HCT credits include Edward Bloom in Big Fish, Frank Abagnale, Sr. in Catch Me If You Can, George Banks in Mary Poppins, and Father in Ragtime. Other  favorite roles are Frederick in A Little Night Music for Utah Rep, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins for Dark Horse Theatre Company,  and Captain Walker in The Who’s Tommy for the Egyptian Theatre. He received a BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU where he was a member of the Young Ambassadors from 1995 to 1996. He is the manager of the Pottery Barn in Salt Lake City. “Into the Fire We Go…Again!”
     

David Glaittli

  David is so happy to be performing in the new Sandy theatre for the first time! As they say, ‘third time’s the charm.’ This is David’s third time performing the role of Elton in one of his mostfavorite shows of all time and is most happy about it. He was most recently seen as Jacob/Potiphar in last season’s production of Joseph…Dreamcoat. He’s also been seen on the HCT stage as Lumiere in Beauty & the Beast,  Peter and the Starcatcher, Over the River and Through the Woods and Les Mis é rables, which he considers to be one of the most amazing theatrical experiences of his life.  Other favorite roles: Professor Porter in Tarzan, Franklin Hart in 9 to 5 The Musical, Don Alejandro in Zorro the Musical, Alfred P. Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers, and Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof. “The measure of a man is on the inside as is the beauty of a woman.”
     

David Matthew Smith

  David was most recently on our stage in The Pirate Queen and Oklahoma. Favorite roles include: Tarzan in Disney’s Tarzan, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly!, and Enjolras in Les Miserables—all at Hale Center Theater Orem. He graduated from UVU in Accounting with minors in Exercise Science and Theater Performance.   He works at Vivint SmartHome in accounts payable. “Onward, ho!!”
     

Jacob Khalil
Hal
  Jacob recently played Salesman 5 in our production of The Music Man. He also played Roberts in The Unsinkable Molly Brown at the Jackson Hole Playhouse and multiple leads in the Microburst Theater Festival at BYU. Favorite opera roles include: Marcello in La Boheme and Bretigny in Manon for BYU, as well as Guiseppe Palmieri in The Gondoliers for Utah Vocal Arts.  He toured with BYU’s Young Ambassadors to Brazil and with the BYU Singers to China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He graduated this past April with a BM in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University. He is a sales manager with Vivint Solar and sings with the Utah Symphony Chorus. He also works part time as a section leader for SLC’s Cathedral of The Madeleine Choir and teaches voice lessons. “For my beautiful wife, Victoria: ‘Beebs for life!’”
     

Chase Petersen

  Chase’s most recent HCT performance was as Smudge in Forever Plaid. Other HCT appearances include Levi in Joseph … Dreamcoat and Dick Wilkins in A Christmas Carol.  Chase lists as some of his favorite shows:   Hello, Dolly! and Beauty and the Beast (Centerpoint Legacy Theatre),  Savior of  the World (Conference Center Theater), The Scarlet Pimpernel , Cats and Aida (Viewmont High School).  He is pursuing a BFA degree in Musical Theatre at UVU.  “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.”
     

Abram Yarbro
Montgomery Clark / St. Cyr
  Abram most recently starred as Luke in An Other Theater Company’s Next Fall. Previously, he was seen as Issachar in Joseph…Dreamcoat on our stage and as Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher at HCTO. He received his associate’s degree from Eastern Arizona College and graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Dramaturgy and Critical Studies. He is a project manager in the product development team at the Utah-founded company Blender Bottle, where he helps develop and launch new and awesome products. “Montgomery Clark is a new character to The Scarlet Pimpernel! He is named after two giants of Utah theatre, director and professor Christopher Clark and the late actor and director, Scott Montgomery. Both of these men have impacted thousands of theatre goers along the Wasatch Front, and I am proud and humbled to bring to life a character that honors them. Thank you, Chris and Scott for what you have given Utah theatre!”
   

Colton Hattabaugh

  Colton was most recently seen as Man 3 in The Music Man.  Other favorite roles include Mr. Applegate in Damn Yankees, Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me, and himself in 35mm at Weber State University. Colton is a graduate of WSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre, and has previously worked as a performer at the Walt Disney World Resort.  He sends all his love to his family, friends, this cast, and the production team. “Expect the unexpected.”
     

Kyle Fotheringham

  Although he is new to our stage, he is no stranger to The Scarlet Pimpernel—having played Dewhurst in 2010 at HCTO. Other recent roles include Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew at the Provo Amphitheatre, ‘Big’ Jim Warren in Little Mary Sunshine, and Gaston in Beauty and the Beast for the Lehi Arts Council. He has a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University and works as a Business Development Manager at TruDigital Digital Signage Solutions. “I was told to keep this brie…”
     

Christian Lackman
Coupeau / Tenor
  Previous to his debut with HCT, Christian has performed at HCTO and Centerpoint Legacy Theater as Charles Darnay in A Tale of Two Cities, Grantaire in Les Miserables, Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Pilot in The Little Mermaid. He is an IT consultant at Executech and is a part-time Voice Actor for hire. “Special shout out to Dan, without whom I wouldn’t be here. Thanks for believing in me, and to my parents for not missing a single show. Love you guys.”
     

Jeffrey Whitlock
Prince of Wales / Robespierre
  Jeffrey was most recently seen on the HCT stage as Buonragazzo in My Son Pinocchio and as Axel Hammond in The Nerd.  Other favorite roles on the HCT stage are Fagin in Oliver!, Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Lachlen in The Hasty Heart.  Jeffrey has also performed at Jackson Hole Playhouse and HCTO.  Jeffrey has a BA in Film from the U of U and works in email marketing.
     

Jim Dale

  Jim has performed in over 50 productions along the Wasatch Front including My Fair Lady (Henry Higgins), Man of the Mancha (Don Quixote), and Annie Get Your Gun (Buffalo Bill) for HCT. Other favorite roles include: Emile DeBeque (South Pacific), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd), King Arthur (Camelot), El Gallo (The Fantastics), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Nick Arnstein (Funny Girl), and Capt. Von Trapp (The Sound of Music).  He works as a Cosmetologist specializing in Permanent Cosmetics. “As always, this is for Roanne!”
     

Michael Romney
Man 1 / Tenor
  Recently seen in our production of The Music Man, Michael has been in shows since attending Lone Peak High School, where he performed as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and as a Wickersham Brother in Seussical. Other favorite roles include Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie for the Murray Arts Council as well as Enoch Snow in Carousel, Louis in West Side Story, and being a member of the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble Touring Company for four years. Michael has a BS in Family Studies from BYU, and an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Hawaii, Mãnoa. He works at American Preparatory Academy as a Ballroom Dance Instructor and Team Director; he also does freelance choreography and dance masterclasses. “The Scarlet Pimpernel has been an all-time favorite of mine. I am so thrilled to be part of this incredible production!:)”
     

Charlie Flint

  Although new to our stage, Charlie has been seen as Marius in Les Miserables, Jack in Into the Woods, and most recently as Lucas in Payson Community Theatre’s The Addams Family. He is studying at BYU where he works as a research assistant in the Harold B. Lee Library on campus; he will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology this coming winter. “I want to give special thanks to my wife for her love, support, and gentle nudging to audition for this incredible production.”
     

Eric Lash
Man 3 / Tenor
  Eric has previously been seen on the Hale stage in Big, A Christmas Carol, and The Sound of Music. He recently was part of the cast of Annie at HCTO, and has also performed at The Grand Theatre, Utah Repertory Theatre, and was involved with the Allies Dinner 2017 featuring Chelsea Handler. He graduated this summer from the University of Utah  with a BS in Psychology and a minor in theatre. He works as a Medical Assistant for a pediatrics office, specializing in mental health. “Theatre is like my Gatorade. It replenishes my electrolytes.”
     

Jadon Webster

Another HCT newcomer, Jadon lists Marius in Les Miserables, Percy in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Tony in West Side Story, Frank Jr. in Catch me if You Can, and Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie as favorite roles. He is a “Beauty School Dropout”, who does as bit of this, a little bit of that, but mostly runs a salsa business with his mom—making a variety of delicious salsas. “It is never too late to be who you might have been.” George Elliot
     

Bryan Johnson

We’re glad to welcome Bryan to our stage for the first time. Previous performances:  The Drowsy Chaperone (Lehi Arts), Seussical, The Little Mermaid, Crazy for You, Les Misérables (Scera), and A Christmas Carol (HCTO). He graduated from BYU in Mechanical Engineering and works as a Software Developer for Ancestry DNA. “Thank you to my lovely wife and awesome kids. I couldn’t do this without your support.”
     

Christopher Curtis-Romijn
Man 6 / Bass
  A man of many talents, Chris has made contributions at HCT on stage and off. He performed in our 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015 productions of A Christmas Carol as well as in Oliver and Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang! In addition, he worked as a Sound Technician for To Kill a Mockingbird, as well as an usher. He studied music at SLCC and currently works for a drug-testing compliance company. “Never let your light shine down.”
     

Jaymie Inouye

Jaymie was recently seen in our production of Tuck Everlasting. She lists some of her favorite previous productions she’s been in as Into the Woods, and Mary Poppins, both at BYU, as well as Crazy for You at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. She is currently enrolled as a Music Dance Theatre student at BYU. “Thanks to my wonderful family and friends for their constant love and support!”
     

Kendra Thomas
Woman 2 / Soprano
  Kendra was recently seen in our production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Some of her favorite previous roles include Alice in Alice in Wonderland at The Bumbleberry Theatre, and Heather Duke in Heathers: The Musical at Utah Rep. When not on stage, she works as a call center agent. “A big thanks to my family and friends for all their love and support.”
     

Amelia Rose Moore
Woman 3 / Soprano
 
Amelia was most recently seen on the HCT stage in Aida.  She has also been seen as Dorcus in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as Alabama Lamb in Big Fish, and as Belle/Laundress in our A Christmas Carol.  Other favorite roles: Grizette in The Merry Widow (Utah Opera), Narrator in Joseph… Dreamcoat (HCTO); she also appeared in A Year with Frog and Toad at SLAC.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theater from Weber State University and works as a dance teacher at CenterPoint Academy and is also a vocal instructor.  “Thanks to the production team and to my friends and family for their love and support. Theater makes everything okay. Escape and enjoy!”
     

Reba Johnson
Woman 4 / Soprano
  HCT is glad to have Reba back on our stage where she was previously seen in Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Big Fish, and Catch Me if You Can. Other favorite performances include The Will Rogers Follies at Pioneer Theatre Company, Heartsongs for BYU’s Young Ambassadors, and The Phantom of the Opera, Peter Pan, and White Christmas for BYU. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Dance Theatre from BYU and works for the University of Utah Daybreak Health Center. “I’m grateful for this wonderful opportunity and for all the support I’ve received from family and friends!” 
     

Julie Waite

  On the HCT stage: Winnie’s Mother in Tuck Everlasting, Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, Lady Falconbury/Soldier in The Heart of Robin Hood, Mrs. Hoallum in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mrs. Baskin in Big Fish, Shaindel in Fiddler on the Roof, and Ensemble in The Pirate Queen. On the Grand Theatre stage: Witch in Into the Woods, Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town, and Georgie in The Full Monty. On the Centerpoint Legacy stage: Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Rose in The Secret Garden, and Lady Thiang in The King and I. Julie holds a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University is currently an accompanist for the Theatre Department at the U of U.
     

Jennifer Aguirre
Woman 6 / High C Soprano
  Jennifer performed in our 2017 production of A Christmas Carol and as the Wardrobe in our 2016 production of Beauty and The Beast. She has also performed as  Bambi in Law and Disorder at Desert Star Playhouse,   as Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors at Sandbox Productions, as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and in The Sound of Music at both HCT and Sundance. Jennifer has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. She works as a music teacher at Grant Elementary in Murray, a private vocal instructor, and is a singer with the Mixed Nuts Jazz Band.  “Love you forever Jonah, Brinley, and Kirsten.”
